A Greenie After A Bath

You know after that earlier post this week about me hearing HER say bath? I was right! But.........she did give me a Greenie after! hehe.Notice the painting on the left wall? Thats me, done by my daddy!

Yesterday my sweet friend Vickie, had a  bunch of online friends mystified, with these pics of a "Special Drink" she had. I knew the answer to this kind of drink, but decided to hold all my friends in suspence. They are all just going to have to read my blog every day, in order to get the answer. So sorry, (or not!), I decided to make you all wait!

Doing Crosswords, by Billy

One of my dad's fave pastimes, is doing crossword puzzles. I usually try to keep him company while he is doing them, and sometimes help him out. He is old. He sometimes has a bit of trouble with them, so good thing I am around!

Billy's New (and only) Bling

One of my online friends, recently sent this "Bling" to Billy. Her name is Kathy. Her and her husband, are full time RVers, and her hobby is beading. I have seen beautiful pictures of her work. This piece is made with tiny "seed" beads, all red, white and blue, and sewn onto a small dog collar. To me, it looks like a lot of work. To Kathy, just a short amount of time, whipped up on a loom. Billy wanted to put it on right away, but I said he had to have a bath first! So, that bath having taken place, he is now showing off his "Bling"! Thank you so much Kathy! Billy will enjoy this so much, as he loves to look nice all the time!

Arctic Camsters From Alaska To Florida

I have been on an extreamly fun website for almost a year and a half now. It is called Arctic Camsters. You may participate on this site by invitaion only. It all started on the Daily News Miner web cam site in Fairbanks AK. The DNM has a web cam, that overlooks a part of Fairbanks that, is quite close to FT Wainwright. Many people all over the world post on this page, their love of Alaska, other interesting facts, and prayer for those in distress. It is a wayto feel closer to the family members. Then, Mark, one of the "regulars", decided to develop the Arctic Camsters own page. One by one, some of us were invited to join. In the process, there have been many Arctic Camster meetings since. This is one that took place this past thursday, in Haines City FL. Roger 1st on left, and Kathy, 3rd on left, hail all the way from a cabin in Alaska and a house in Texas. Kurtis and Liz, 2nd and 3rd on right, have family ties in Fairbanks and now live in Winter Haven FL. Kurtis grew up in Fairbanks. They will be returning to Ak in a few years.  Ralph and I live in Davenport FL, and became fast friends online and in person with both couples. Another couple were suppose to be with us also, but were unable to make it. The two pieces of paper in front of the shades, are drawings of them, (unable to see drawings) so they were still able to participate. We have had many fun times with this web page, and have become very close to a lot of the people on there.

Awhile back I was at Seaworld. We decided to have a meal at a resturant there. Well............let me tell you...........Either I just had trouble eating because of our view, or the food was just plain lousy! Never again  will I eat with fish!
