Waiting For My Share

Remember last week, I told you Mom made some delicious Banana, chocolate chip, oatmeal bread? Well here are some shots of it, and also of me, waiting to get my share of it. Don't worry, No one gave me any of the chocolate chips! I must say, even without tasting the chips, it was quite yummy. Problem is, Mom didn't save the recipe! She has assured me that she could make it again. She says, just use any banana bread recipe, add 2 packets of instant oatmeal, and 1/2 cup chocolate morsels. She only had a maple flavored oatmeal. Maybe that's why it was so good! She also said the secret to the best banana bread, is to use more bananas than the recipe actually calls for. She has done that for over 40 yrs and never had a problem!
