Hail In Florida?

This past Saturday, I was having a very nice nappy on our lanai, when all of a sudden, there was this horrendous noise! I got off my chaise lounge, and went to look out the window, to see what was causing this noise. Mom said it was hail! OMD! I never saw or heard the likes of it before!
The three of us ventured slowly out the door. I was kinda skeered myself. The lanai and carport, both have a metal roof, and the hail made it sound like we were being shot at! OK, so maybe being shot at is a bit of an exaggeration, but it sure was terrifying! It lasted about 15

minutes! My folks picked me up and carried me into the house, as I was trembling so. (another exaggeration!) Here, you can see me on my Mom's lap, getting all kinds of attention after that skeery ordeal! So that was the highlight of my weekend! How was yours?
Happy Monday, Miss Mindy

  5. OMC Miss Mindy...that must have been very scary. Wonder how often FL receives a hail storm.

Tell you Mom thank you for her kind comments about my Grandp Peep.
Mom hopes to be able to visit my friends in the very early morning and in the afternoon.
