Well, they are gone! Late Thursday afternoon, The oldest baby left the nest. The younger baby was all alone in the nest over night, and he/she left Friday! But..........They have been nearby, and I have heard their immature voices. Saturday morning, I still heard them and caught a few glimpses of them. It has been a fun experience!
We are a bit sad for it to be over :(
It's amazing how attached we can get to birds who raise their families nearby.

ReplyDeleteWe're sad too that was fun to watch...but at least they made it to a size where they can look after themselves and fly the coop.
