A Jean Dress



My Mom really likes to re purpose things. She had an old jean skirt that she never wore anymore, (probably was to small for her BOL). She decided to make me a dress out of it. Now mind you, my Mom is not a seamstress, but she sure tries. So, you never want to look to close at some of her sewing, cause she says it just is not right!! But I think she did a pretty good job on my new dress, and it fits well, and looks quite pretty on me! She calls it my raggedy dress, cause of the way she did the neck and sleeves. Maybe she should make a few more ragged slits in it as that is the way so many kids wear their jeans, I said. She said, don't worry Miss Mindy, you can always chew a few holes in it! BOL I sure loves my Mom!

    That dress looks great on you!
    With all of the buttons sewn down the back, gathers in the skirt and top stitching!
    It looks like a lot of work went into it.
    Tell Mom, "I look pretty and that's all that matters!" LOL
