Mom Got Fooled
My Mom got really excited recently, when she saw this leaf on the ground! "OH A MAPLE LEAF", she said. "Where on earth did this leaf come from"? "Just like back in New England!" She didn't think there were any maple trees around us in Florida. Uh.........Mom.......so sorry to tell you.....that is actually a silk leaf off of someones fall decoration! I must tell you........that she pouted for the rest of the day.....and then some! (she really misses NE and wants to move back there).

ReplyDeleteMom said she totally understands how your Mom must miss the beauty of NE. She cannot imagine not seeing the seasons change. My human sis lives on the NC coast..only 3 hours from us but they don't have many hard woods there so she misses the seasons too.
