Can I go back inside now? I believe I have had enough sun for today. After all, I don't want to start looking all leathery!

Smiling Like A Chesshire Cat, But I'm Not A Cat!

My mom thinks I am smiling like a Chesshire Cat! I don't even know what that is, but I am positive I am not a cat! I am just smiling cause I am sunbathing, and it feels great! You want another good reason I am smiling? Today is Mom's 300th blog! She wasn't sure she would make it 100 days, let alone 300! Not much longer, and it will be our year aniversary! I sure will be smiling that day, from ear to ear!

Saturday Finally Came, Corned Beef Day for us

Yay! Today, (in this pic anyway) is Saturday! I get my corned Beef dinner tonight! As you can see I did some sun bathing this afternoon. Trying to tan up my grays! Maybe I will have to purchase some Loreal to make them look better though.

Saint Patricks Day Sadness

OK, so I am a bit late with this post. But as my mom always says; Better late than never! Here I am all in garb for St Paddys Day and my mom just told me I had to wait for my corned beef dinner until this Saturday night. That just stinks, that she has to work five evenings a week, and can't even have dinner with us. There will be another post about me FINALLY getting my St Pats dinner.

Springtime In My Yard

I wanted you all to see how Spring has SPRUNG, in our yard. After our very extended winter, (go ahead, laugh if you like), it is so delightful to witness the color, as it is popping up all around us! And........if you all remember........I love taking Macro pics of our flowers! Another day, I will post a larger version of the blue flowers, where you can see the morning dew on them. Spring sure gives us all new life, especially in flowers!

New Backyard Friends # 1

Mr and Mrs Morning Dove, have taken up residence in this plant on our patio. It is very easy to take pictures right from my back door! I had a family a few years ago, but lost all the photos, when my computor died. They were awesome, so am hoping these will be as well. Mrs Dove has been staying in the nest since April 2nd, so I am assuming that is when she laid her first egg. Hopefully thing will go well, and I will be able to post more pics! The last pic shows both Mr and Mrs!
