Early last week, our little Billy was not feeling very well at all! You can actually see that in his face in the first pic. He was not at all interested in eating, and was having very loose stools. Ralph and I were very concerned, and made an appointment at the vet for him. I took these pics the morning of the appointment, thinking, they could very well be his last. I gave him a "wipie" bath and changed his shirt, so he would be all nice and clean for the Doctor. He is 12 yrs old now, and we were preparing to send him over the Rainbow Bridge.
Well.........we were very wrong! He just had an over abundance of bacteria in his stool, that was probably causing the problem! So the doctor gave him a shot, and sent us home with two liquid medications. By the time he got home, the medication that was in the shot, made him feel so much better, that he ate his food right away! He has taken his meds pretty good, and has continued to improve back to his old self! Needless to say, we are breathing sighs of relief, that he will be with us longer!
Once upon a time..........I was woken by a kiss. Come to find out......it was only coming from the laptop! You see, everytime my human Grandma, in MA, came online, there was a kiss sound! This time, it WOKE ME RIGHT UP! And here I thought some chicky doggy was kissing me :(

I just love her so much! Sure wish I didn't live so far away from her and could visit more often. Hopefully the next ten years won't go by so fast!

This is just the latest, of my backyard friends. Is he a falcon? I love birds, but sure don't know much about them. He was seen earlier in the week, swooping down for a rabbit. Sure glad I didn't see that! I would have been crying like crazy! Anyway, if he isn't a falcon, please let me know what he is. Thanks!
Can I go back inside now? I believe I have had enough sun for today. After all, I don't want to start looking all leathery!
My mom thinks I am smiling like a Chesshire Cat! I don't even know what that is, but I am positive I am not a cat! I am just smiling cause I am sunbathing, and it feels great! You want another good reason I am smiling? Today is Mom's 300th blog! She wasn't sure she would make it 100 days, let alone 300! Not much longer, and it will be our year aniversary! I sure will be smiling that day, from ear to ear!
