No Indian In Me

This is my Mohawk hairstyle. Yeah, like it will stay that way! My hair is so fine, it just goes every which way! Now why would Mom want me to have a Mohawk? I do not have any Indian in me at all. She's wacky, but then you all know that by now.

Waiting For My Share

Remember last week, I told you Mom made some delicious Banana, chocolate chip, oatmeal bread? Well here are some shots of it, and also of me, waiting to get my share of it. Don't worry, No one gave me any of the chocolate chips! I must say, even without tasting the chips, it was quite yummy. Problem is, Mom didn't save the recipe! She has assured me that she could make it again. She says, just use any banana bread recipe, add 2 packets of instant oatmeal, and 1/2 cup chocolate morsels. She only had a maple flavored oatmeal. Maybe that's why it was so good! She also said the secret to the best banana bread, is to use more bananas than the recipe actually calls for. She has done that for over 40 yrs and never had a problem!

I Spy.....

I spy........with my little eye,...........is that a cookie crumb down there on the ground? I see the round shape of a cheerio under the table. And over there is..............perhaps some of Dad's meatball he dropped?  I do believe that is spaghetti sauce that has splattered onto the kitchen floor! Well! By Golly! A Little Patriots Fan

This is what I was doing before the Patriots/Jets games yesterday. Mom was cooking up BBQ Beef in the crock pot, to eat during the game. She was very bored, and just didn't know what to do with her time before the game started. Up and down, up and down.......from her chair, all afternoon! Tried her sock loom, put it down. Did some crocheting, put it down. Fed her face, and didn't give me any, drank ice coffee, and didn't give me any,   wait a minute, I hate ice coffee! (no wonder she didn't give me some!)  But I sure woulda love some of that brownie :(  4:30 just couldn't come fast enough for her! Me?...............I knew how to spend my time until the game started!
It was all downhill right after it started! About the only thing good during the game, was the foodies! The BBQ Beef on a roll was great! Forgot to tell you that Mom also made a wonderful bananna, oatmeal, choc chip bread. Of course I got a piece of that too, without any choc chips! Then...........the game went from bad to worse! Football season is over for us folks! (mom is sighing all over the place)
