The Dream

A few weeks back, Ralph and I went to an RV show in Orlando. It is still a dream of ours to own an RV and do a lot of traveling with it. Probably not go full time with it though. The  prices have really come down on all these types of vehicles lately. But.......we just can't do anything until we sell our house. We saw some really nice features in the 2011 RV's and some cool things in older models. Guess for the time being, we will continue to prays our house sells, and maybe buy a lottery ticket here and there!

Balloon Above

One day last week, Dad had me outside, and I was just checking out the place to make sure everything was copacetic,  when all of a sudden,,,,,,,,I hear this loud WHOOSH! I looked up! WOW! What the heck! Is this ALIENS coming for us? Needless to say, I got a bit scared, as it was right over my house to begin with! Dad called Mom to bring the flashie box outside. It was over the street by the time she shot a pic. I am sure glad I was on the string, cause for certain, I woulda been beamed right up!!

A Jean Dress

My Mom really likes to re purpose things. She had an old jean skirt that she never wore anymore, (probably was to small for her BOL). She decided to make me a dress out of it. Now mind you, my Mom is not a seamstress, but she sure tries. So, you never want to look to close at some of her sewing, cause she says it just is not right!! But I think she did a pretty good job on my new dress, and it fits well, and looks quite pretty on me! She calls it my raggedy dress, cause of the way she did the neck and sleeves. Maybe she should make a few more ragged slits in it as that is the way so many kids wear their jeans, I said. She said, don't worry Miss Mindy, you can always chew a few holes in it! BOL I sure loves my Mom!

We like this photo a lot too! Mom always says I am such a lady, just a little rough around the edges! Is she making fun of me? I'm wondering now.
