These photos were taken between the Three Sister's Islands. Lot of rapids going on all over! Unfortunately, these pictures do not do the area justice, with all its beauty.

This last photo is of the Maid Of The Mist boat. In all my visits to Niagara Falls, I never went on that boat.

I Did See It

I did see the spider on this flower, thats the reason I took this photo. Even though I don't care for spiders, I think this one is kinda cool!

When I took this photo at Niagara Falls, I did not notice the little spider beforehand. So after downloading, I was quite surprized to see it there.

Funday-Monday Old Man In The Mountains

If you have ever been to New Hampshire's White Mountains, Franconia Notch, you probably saw The Old Man in the Mountain! That is, before May 3rd, 2003. You see, on that date, the old man fell to his demise. I know I saw him many times while vacationing up that way. He was quite the spectacular site, and many people miss him! The second picture is a composite image, (by Rob Gallagher), of what it looked like before and after the rocks fell. But don't be sad any longer folks, as the third photo is the newest Old Man in the Mountain!!! No problem that he is in the mountains of WV and not NH., cause at least he is an OLD MAN! So do you think his image will also be on a coin someday?

(And you were wondering why I put this post on Funday Monday for awhile huh?)

This pic was taken in the mountains of WV. We were on one of our many rest stops. Sure wish I could have seen more of it. There were a lot of people there, and I do believe there was a scenic trail to walk. Sadly, we did not go.
