Mom's Birthday Part 2

Mom had decided she wanted to go to the Legal Seafood Restaurant for her birthday dinner. My Bro Greg, is a cook there, and knows everything about the place! That's my other Bro, Clint there, and of course my Dad. Since moving to Florida, Mom and Dad says they haven't had good New England Lobster in forever! Greg's GM provided us with four free wonderful appetizers! My parents were in Heaven!!

This is Mom's Lobster! The wonderful cooks upgraded the size, for no extra charge! (that's cause Greg is such a wonderful worker!  ha ha) Even though it was bigger than she had planned, Mom ate every bit of it! She "forgot" to give me any! But I forgave her, since it was her birthday!

Here is Dad showing off his Lobster. Can you tell by the look on his face he is lovin it already?

This metal fish statue was right behind us on the patio. Isn't it pretty with the changing evening sky?
We wanted to sit on the patio, because the peeps were enjoying the almost non existent humidity Mom said, you gotta love New England weather compared to Florida!

And me? Well I just sat in my Cinderella Coach and enjoyed the entire evening! Y'all didn't know about this, did ya!!! That's another whole story.
Many Lovies to my best Bros! Can't wait to see you again!

Memory Monday #8

Thanksgiving Day , 1984. Clint and I all dress up and ready to go visit his great-grandma at the hospital, and then to Grandpas house for dinner. I just love how his bow tie is crooked, so typical of him! Even though it looks like a fur coat I have on, believe me, it is not real fur! But it was nice and warm and a very pretty coat!

Memory Monday #3

This is Clinton and I waiting to take the plunge for salvation! He was 7 yrs old and wanted to make the commitment to Christ with me. He later strayed a bit, but loving returned to Our Lord after many big upheavals in his life. I am so proud of him, and have enjoyed many discussions of scripture with him since his return. He and I really know that prayer DOES work!

Memory Monday #2

Long, long ago, when a very special little boy was just three years old, he went to ballet classes with his best friend Abigail! This is my son, Clinton. (he is 29 now). Abby used to spend the weekdays with us, so the two of them became very close. To this day, they call each other cousins. Abby's mom wanted her daughter to take ballet lessons up the street from where we lived. She paid for both of them to go there. It was a fun time in their lives and also mine. This photo was taken on the day of their recital. The audience just loved them all!

House In Alaska

This is Clint and Noelle's house in Fairbanks. They live on the first floor. When Clint gave me the address, I immediately Googled it. WOW! I was truly amazed by that program and what I could see! Of course it is not an updated picture, but one that was taken last year. It is a small apartment, but they, and their two kittens are happy enough with it.

Mother & Son Dance

Clint and I were able to share quite a bit during this dance. Hopefully, he will always remember what I said to him. It was very hard for me not to cry. It was the very first time I had ever danced with him. A few precious moments just for us, as I prepared in my mind, that he now, really belongs to another woman.
