Pretty Flowers In My Yard

This weekend, I took a walk around our house and decided to take some photos, (well, Mom took the photos), of all our pretty flowers. Above, is a gardenia. It really smells nice!

A Lovely Mexican Petunia.

Hmmmmm.......No one can remember the name of these.

A beautiful rose bud from the large rose bush on our patio.

And more of those forgotten named ones, with rain drops on them. These our just a few of the flowers we have. We sure are enjoying them all! In Florida, we are able to have some flowers, all year long!

So The Parents,

Finally gave up on a harness for me! Mom bought me this beautiful pink collar that has pretty flowers on it. Sorry she didn't take a better pic of it. I love it! Next time, she is going to get me one with diamonds on it she said. To bad I am unable to chew this up, so I could get the diamond collar faster! BOL

Winter Time In Central Florida

Mom just wants you all to see how the middle of January looks like in central Florida. Pretty Pansies,

The gardenias are no longer flowering in our yard, so I really miss the smell of them floating over to my patio chair!

Rock Growing Flowers

Did you know that flowers can grow in rocks? This is my Dad's rock, and he put these Petunias in it. It is sitting in front of our house, and looks so pretty. I likes flowers! I especially like to smell them! And........I NEVER piddles on them!

Remember that promise I made that week? Well.........here are some more, not the greatest photos, but still kinda nice.

I have had the most fun lately, taking macro-zoom shots of all the flowers in our yard. The colors are so beautiful! As the cooler weather comes upon us, we will have more and more flowers. Ralph is the Gardener and he knows the names of everything. Me? I am just the photographer. I also like to use Photoscape with my pictures and put them in "windows" or frames.

More Back Yard Friends

I have been told that this is a male gecko, he is trying to attract a female here, by showing the thingy on his throat.

Believe it or not, they are a lot of fun to watch. They are always chasing each other all around.

And, we also have seen them in different colors. Black, dark brown, light brown, green and one even had a blue colored tail!

They seem to love our entire yard, running all over, and through the pretty flowers.

It's 4 o'clock somewhere.

It is suppose to be 4 o'clock here......then why arn't my 4 o'clocks open? Ok, so it is after midnight, and now my 4 o'clocks are open!

Like the heading says, it's 4 o'clock somewhere. Strange plants.........don't even know how to tell time. Maybe I should send for "that clock"!!!!! Think it would help?
