Socks, But Not For Me

Originally, this post was only suppose to be about socks! But I said, WTH! There hasn't been a pic of me on this blog for a few days now. So I searched through the millions of pics she had, and came up with this one! WAIT A MINUTE! THAT WASN'T WHAT I PICKED! WTH! HOW DID THAT ONE GET ON HERE? HOW DO I GET RID OF IT! My life is ruined!
Ok, Just forget about that pic.
Below, you will see some socks and one unfinished one, that Mom has been spending ALL her time on lately!
Now I just know y'all are just asking, WTH does she need socks for? She lives in Florida, the non-sock state!
OK.........so she says..........someday.........she will need them........when we move to New Hampshire!
I say...........so why are you spending all your time and $$$$ now, when you could be spending that time and $$$$ on me?
She answers: "Miss Mindy, you know I am a VERY ORGANIZED and PREPLANNED person! I just WANT to be ready for when we do move."
My next thought about this matter is: will she make something like this for me for whenever I may have to step my fragile feets on snow encrusted ground? We sure will see.
(ps: WTH means, what the heck! I do not swears!)
Sure hope all your tootsies are warm and comfy today.

Hey Guy!

Hey Guy! Don'tcha think you should wash those socks once in awhile? Just cause the Woman is away for till next week, doesn't mean you should wear dirty socks!
Yeah, do you believe that the Woman/Mom, actually had the audacity to leave me? She gave me a story about how she bought airplane tickets months ago, way before I came here. She says she is going to have a blast with all her kids and grand kids. She has been having a blast with me for over a week now! Well to bad for her, me and the Guy/Dad will just hang out and bond more. Maybe he will have a few beers and share it with me, hiccup! HAY! It is July 4th, after all, we gots to celebrate somehow! Have a great day peeps!

Monkey Business

When I was a little girl, my grandmother made all us grand kids one of these sock monkeys. I so enjoyed mine, and had it for many years. I don't know what ever happened to it though. I eventually made a few myself, but was not the kind grammie that gave one to all the grandchildren. They are just not the kind of toy that is as fun as it was fifty-some years ago. For the past few years at Cracker Barrel, they have had these sock monkeys as Christmas ornaments. So I picked up a number of them and gave them away. My little sock monkey brings back a lot of memories of being a child and my grandma, even if it isn't the original one.
