Having Fun In The Fall

I have always love the Fall Season. It is something I have certainly missed since moving to Florida. Lucky for me, my daughter who lives in western NY, takes lovely photos of her kids playing outside their home. Joey and Julia sure look like they are having a great time!

A Walking Stick

 One evening, while enjoying a cool fall breeze outside, I discovered a new "Backyard Friend"! Of course I had to run and get my trusty little camera! I proceeded to take a number of photos of this odd, quite large, 4in, insect. At first, I thought it was a great little mommy, just carrying her baby on her back. As it turns out, I have since been told, This is a Walking Stick and that is a male on her back, doing his thing!  Well! I have always said I needed to learn something new every day of my life. I prefered the baby story myself!
