Finally gave up on a harness for me! Mom bought me this beautiful pink collar that has pretty flowers on it. Sorry she didn't take a better pic of it. I love it! Next time, she is going to get me one with diamonds on it she said. To bad I am unable to chew this up, so I could get the diamond collar faster! BOL

Busted, Again

Mom and Dad have always liked to have a harness on me. They must have thought I was a horse or something for Pete's sake! (who is Pete, anyway?) They both felt a harness would be better, so I would never hurt my neck! Well......I sure showed them a thing or two, or five! That's right, I have chewed threw five harnesses! Think they would have learned after the first two! BOL Arn't I just the smartest little pup? Mom even bought a special kind for me online. BOL, Wasted your money again Mom!

Well, Dad is anyway!

Hands On Her Pants

Mom recently got a Kindle, and now all she does is read, read, read! But, one day, she decided to make a cover for her Kindle. She first went to a thrift shop to buy a book that hopefully would be the right size. It cost her 50 cents! She then took an old pair of jeans, ( that grew to big for her), cut a piece out that would fit the outside of the book. Oh yeah, she actually cut out the inside of the book! (I sure wish she had given me the papers, what fun that would have been to play with)! She attached the material to the book with fusing tape. She then cut another piece of the material, to fit in the inside of the cover, again using fusing tape and the iron. You can see that she put some little elastic pieces on the right side, to hold the Kindle. Last of all, she hot glued those pockets on. The outside pocket will hold her cord and the little light she has. Now I want you to know, Mom did not come up with this idea all by herself! She saw it on Pinterest! But, she did of course design this one. The one she saw was not made out of old jeans! The reason she even decided to make this cover is because, SHE IS TO DANG CHEAP TO SPEND $40.00 ON A READY MADE ONE! 50 cents vs $40.00, way to go Mom! Now buy me some yummy treats with all that money you saved! (and maybe a denim purse)?

Here I am having coffee outside with Dad early one morning. It is a little cool out, so Dad is wearing a jacket. I am staying warm by snuggling up close to him!

Memory Monday #4

This photo was taken in 1971 I believe. Sherri and I went on a road trip to Brunswick, Maine, with my Mom and Dad. My sister lived there with her husband, and two children. On the right, is my sister's daughter, Julia. I remember having quite a fun time there. We never got to know Julia real well, since we lived so far away. Julia went to be with the angels, after being in a car accident, in 1975 at just four yrs old. My girls used to send helium balloons up to Heaven for her. My sister made sure my girls knew a lot about Julia through the year. So, my daughters decided, who ever had the first girl, she would be named Julia. Hence, my granddaughter, Julia! My maternal grandmother's name, was also Julia. You have always been in my heart little Julie!

Y'all remember the cow I got for Christmas dontcha? HEHEHE, Sure don't look like no cow now! But guess what? Mom fixed it like new!

Mom Loves To Repurpous Things For Me

See the new bed I have in my crate? It use to be a twin bed comforter! Mom made me two bed pillows out of that comforter. It is nice and comfy, and I don't even care that it is not pink! Thanks Mom!
