Miss Mindy's Mom here. Our darling little girl is doing just fine after her girly surgery. She is still lethargic a bit, not eating or drinking, but did her pp's and poopie outside twice. She also jumped right on to her Dad's chair when we got home! Big no no! Unfortunately, since she is not suppose to jump, she will be crated at night for the next 10 days or so. Sad for all of us, but best for her. Not sure when she will feel well enough to blog again, but I'll let her decide. Thank you all for your kind words to her yesterday! I have to tell you all though, I sure know now why the "cone of shame" is called that! She really looks like she is in shame! Take care everyone and we will try to get back soon! Love to all!

No Noseying Today!

I will not be getting my little nose into any of my friends bloggies today. Know why? Cause I am at the Doggie Doctors, getting my girlie surgery! Mom told me she might get me some nice fruit yogurts to eat later. That sounds yummy! I will catch up with you all as soon as I can!

Memory Monday #9

This is my oldest daughter, Sherri, when she was about 11 yrs old. She is holding my first, "little" dog, Bridget. Bridget was a teacup poodle. We sure had a lot of fun with her!

A Familiar Place

I got this cool ball when I went to this place. Know why? Cause I was the bestest little girl doggie ever while I was there!


As you may have guessed, I am at my doggie doctor for a wellness visit. The doctor said I was the perfect weight at 11.8 lbs, and I looked and acted wonderful! But.........I did hear some talk about getting some girlie parts taken care of. Hmmmm......Mom just told me that is coming up soon and has already purchased a cone for me. A cone? Sure hope it is cherry flavored!

Ice Crunchies

Practically since the day I came to live with my Mom and Dad, I have LOVED ice! Every time I hear an ice cube drop on the kitchen floor, I go running to get it! Sometimes, The folks just give one cube to me. When I am outside, Dad will sometimes break it up for me, so I can eat it better. Once in awhile, I will just leave the ice cube someplace and forget about it. Twice, I left it in Dad's chair, and he sat on it BOL!

Memory Monday #8

Thanksgiving Day , 1984. Clint and I all dress up and ready to go visit his great-grandma at the hospital, and then to Grandpas house for dinner. I just love how his bow tie is crooked, so typical of him! Even though it looks like a fur coat I have on, believe me, it is not real fur! But it was nice and warm and a very pretty coat!

I am still kinda tired out after my party Wednesday. I'm just chilling on the couch gazing at my peeps. I also think some catnip got snuck into my house and I am feeling the after effects of it. NO, it was not the Guinness, cause I didn't have any of that stuff! BOL

My Party

Wow! I am so tired after my birthday party! Just gonna lay my head on my unstuffed, stuffie, and rest for a bit!
A TON of my doggie and kitty friends came over to celebrate with me, and boy, did we ever do up this party right! Above, you can see the yummy treats we had every hour on the hour. Those were in-between, t-bone steak, chicken, Cheetos, Guinness, cake and ice cream! Gosh, that all was so good tasting!
We had all these balloons to play with! It got really loud here, with so many of them popping! We all decided to send a bunch of them up to doggie and kitty heaven too. That was so all our former pets, and friends pets, could have them. That was cool, watching them float away in the sky!
Then, Mom and Dad took all of us over to Cinderella's castle, to see the fireworks they had just for me! Talk about LOUD! WHEW! We all will be lucky if we can ever hear again! But.........it was beautiful!
After that, we came home for some of this delicious bone cake! I don't know why the picture is so small, cause that cake had to be about three feet long! It was yummy, and me and my friend devoured it fast!

So.....it was quite a 1st birthday. Thanks to all my bloggie friends for attending, and making me such a happy one year old!

Just so you all know, there were no pups or kitties swinging from the chandelier, but.........Puddles and Madi did a super dance on top of the dining room table in their bikinis! (Mom was thinking, Thank God there wasn't a pole in the center of the table! BOL) There was some drooling going on during this dance, but I won't name any names!

I also want to thank all the new friends in Bloggland who came via Madi's tram to wish me a Happy Birthday!
