One Year Later, A Short Memoir

What ever was I doing to you Billy? Should I have offered you a rum and coke perhaps?

I remember I took this in a completely dark bedroom.

He looks as if he is in awe of something here. His Christmas toy perhaps?

Billy was always looking at me as if he was trying to figure me out! LOL, Nobody, not man nor beast has done that yet Billy!

It has been exactly one year, since our Billy went over the Rainbow Bridge.  I still think of you so much Billy. Sometimes, I even say your name, when I call out to Miss Mindy. After 13 1/2 years with you, it is hard to change some of my habits. I often gaze at the painting of you, or the photo in the living room, and wonder what you are up to. I suppose you are just running around where you are,  basking in the sun, sleeping in the rain, cuddling in a blanket during a snowstorm. Just waiting............... till you see me again.

The way they are flying all around me, kinda scares me a bit. Good thing Dad is petting me, so I calm down a little.

OK, I'm not scared anymore. Think I will just check outside and see what the wind is doing out there.

Dogs In Cars

I really love riding in my car seat, in our car! I am fastened in, all nice and safe, just like Mom and Dad are. I wonder where we are going. Hmmmm.......this road looks quite familiar! Oh yeah! Pet Smart! There are about a gazillion smells outside and in the store! I tend to go a little crazy with all the new smells. Hope I get some special treats and new toys!

Birth Of A Butterfly

Mom's Bites

One day a few weeks ago, Mom woke up to these bites on her leg! YUCK! She never did find out what bit her, but she does believe it was a spider! It took quite awhile to go away, in fact, she still has some little marks left. I sure hope nothing ever bites me like that! This just gave her one more reason to dislike Florida!
