1st Day In MA, by Billy

We drove and drove and drove and drove, well, you get the picture. The Mom and Dad decided to take three days to get to MA instead of the usual two. I was a little disappointed when I heard they were going to do that, cause I wanted to see my bro's as soon as possible. But you know, they really made the right decision! The usually end up getting on each other's nerves about directions and such. This time, only one little argument took place! It was great! Mom says now, she can't even remember what it was about. So after tons of great snacks in the car, and stops about every two hours, and two sleep-overs, we arrived in MA about 10:30 in the AM. We made arraignments to see my big bros right away. That sure was fun, so much that, this was how I spent my first evening. All cuddled up and cozy with my Dad.

Western New York Loveliness

We arrived here in WNY Monday afternoon, and it has been so delightful! The grandchildren are such sweet angels and they are constantly warming my heart. As usual, being with my two daughters, is such an exciting experience! In this area of the country, Ralph and I are totally at peace with life. It feels like we belong here. (except for the winters) lol. We were going to purchase our leased Ford Escape, that we got here three years ago. Instead, we purchased a Ford Taurus Crossover. LOL I had a funny feeling this would happen. My son in law Joe, is the service manager at DeLacy Ford up here. The dealership was great three years ago and even better now. And, it is so nice to hear how loved our son in law is there! Billy is at ease with his bedroom, where he spends most of the time. He will have a story for you soon about, "The Big Bad Wolf". Today, we are going to a place where Ralph has never been, but the rest of us have, many times. Niagara Falls! I am hoping he will be in awe! So I am sure I will have many pics and more stories to share with all of you in another week or so.

Summertime In New England

I just thought I would try and catch up with all you fine people and stop in today. Next week I should be able to pick up my daughters wireless signal, and maybe put in a real blog. For now, just a note on my friends laptop. The weather has been wonderful, almost as hot as FL but with less humidity. I have see the two boys, and tomorrow is the birthday party for my youngest grandchild, Ayden. Wow! Three yrs old already! We are having a grand time, visiting people and going to some of my fave places. Got a few fun pics to post in the future. This weekend, the oldest daughter comes dowm from NH and then on Monday we will leave for NY. I sure hope all my readers are doing well, and enjoying these summer days! Till next time........

Somebody's Going On A Trip, Am I???

I am a little concerned, cause I haven't seen my traveling bag yet. Am I going North too?

So I will just put on my MEAN face till they, Mom and Dad, notice it. Then they will tell me what is going on!

OK! There it is! Thats my traveling bag! So now I know I am going for sure!

Yep! We are going to see, Sherri, maybe Jim, her hubs, Clint, Noelle, Greg, and little Ayden, and then over to western NY and

see Jennifer and those cute little kids, Julia and Joey, that live with her! Oh yeah, and her hubby Joe, too.

So, see all you fine people when we get back in three weeks!

PS, Billy had his Spa Day wednesday! He looks so adorable! But.........my camera is packed and I just don't have the time to post a pic of him anyway. So......by the time you all read this.....we will be on our way. It's North Or Bust Time!!!

What's Going On?

Why are you ironing all those clothes?
Why is the cooler out?
Why is your laptop case out of the closet?
Why are you making so many lists?
Why are you and Dad spelling so many words?
Why is the fridge and pantry so empty?
And, why on earth did you clean the car inside and out? You only do that when...........You are taking a trip!
Trip???? Am I going????

Billy doesn't know it yet, but he is going to a groomer tomorrow. I want him to look nice and handsome for all the people we will see. I'm sure he will be mad at me though, when he comes home. I'll cure that........with some special treats!  (hehe)

Funday Monday-Goof Off?

While waiting out a rainstorm one day, I came across this. I have never seen nor heard of this stuff. I could think of a lot of "Goof Offs" I could remove with it though! You know, those kinds of tough "things" in our lives? What would you remove with it?

I just remembered...........today is my one year anniversary of Hoods Happenings! WOW! I made it! But.........guess what.........I probably will be taking a little break starting after this thursday, untill the middle of July. I will be visiting my kids and grandkids up north! So if you don't hear from me..............don't worry............I'm probably having a BLAST! Many thanks and love, to all who have visited this past year!
