I Have Chipmonk Grandchildren
The grandchildren were looking through a glass ball at Corning Glass Works. I can't really say I especially like their faces like this............
That is absolutely the most unique grandchild picture I've ever seen. Corning has a lot of activities for families. I remember when I was a freshman in high school. Corning opened a plant in Raleigh. We had our fist influx of friends from the north. I'll never forget the first day of school it looked like the opening sceen to Grease. Lots of cute guys with slick backed hair walking up to the school in their undershirts or so it appeared and rolled up jeans, wearing WHITE socks with dark shoes. Oh my word what were they doing to our prim and proper school where everyone wore crisp bright colored oxford shirts and khakis. HA. The school and the newbies came to an agreement and finally we had a more relaxed dress at school. It was all good. We learned from them and they learned from us. Madi and Mom
