The Good Seed
For years, I have tried to root and advacado seed! Well.......it seems that I am finally succeeding! Now........just off to find out what to do with it from here. Anybody else, ever do this?
I've tried many times, but all it did was sit there and that took forever! How long did yours take? I've got two in the fridge right now and since yours came alive, I might try again. Then, I can set it outside for the summer.
I have tried that in the past and I can never get it! Good job to you! I am not sure what to do next -- if you Google it you should be able to find out!
In the past I found the avocado seeds like warm places but not direct sun. My problem was always: where do I plant it? Little too chilly in San Jose to start seedlings, but full grown trees do fine!
But if yours has roots, that's a good sign!
I love your new and improved "hiding place" for your morning coffee! Hugs, Kathy

Not a clue...I've gotten to that stage with a carrot top but never did anything with it.
