What channel is a Christmas movie on? Now that we have the tree up, decorations all around, and listening to some Christmas music, I think it is time to watch a movie about Christmas! So help me out here!

Avocado Again

Nothing much has happened to the Avocado tree. It stayed in the house most of the summer caused it didn't seem to like the heat. Now it is back outside. Maybe it hasn't grown much, cause it was re potted. Time will tell if it will grow anymore.

PS...........Tomorrow is a very big day! Any guesses?

I told you people, Payback is Pawsome! See whats happening here? She got right to mending this quilt, within days of me posting all those holes!! Now when I go nap on that bed, my nails don't get caught in the rips anymore! Whoo Hooo.

Veteran's Day

This past weekend, my grandson Joey, and his buddies in his cub scout pack, did a really cool deed! They placed flags on veteran's graves, at a local cemetery! Now that is something Joeys great grandfather, Allen Sisson used to do every year. Joey never met his great grandfather, but I would sure say he was a "chip off the ol block"! I am so pleased to see our young people learning Patriotism!

Pretend Horsey And A Thank You

I like this chair, cause I almost feel like I am sitting on a horsey's back! All right! So I'm a little soft in the head! You think I would ever get on a real horse's back? Ah..........NO WAY! In the meantime, I will just pretend!

Gloria's turn: I really have to give out so many thanks to all of you who sent me special wishes and prayed for me. I can't even begin to tell you how grateful I am for those and all the puppy and kitty kisses too. It all started a month ago, with an abnormal EKG. Further testing was done, and it was found that not enough blood was getting to the bottom of my heart. Sure enough, during the heart cath, they found a 90% blockage. So within a few hours, I had a stent placed into my heart. It absolutely amazes me, that all this could be done without any pain except needle pricks! While I thought I just might "feel" something, the Doctor is telling me he is all done! WOW! That sure was fast! So people, now a word of advice: Never put off your yearly physical! I ALWAYS DO! I HATE going to the doctors! So after being about six months late on my appointment, it was found then, that there could be a problem. I'm thinking now, at age 62, it is time to behave myself, in many ways, including timely doctors appointments!  Again, Thank You all my bloggie friends, two and four legged! I love you all! Gloria

PS: The Mom had to stay in the hospital over night after the cardiac cath, cause she had a big blockage and got a big stent! (Doc's own words lol) She sure is happy to be back home with me, and I am happy too! I missed her a lot, and was looking all over for her.  She wants to tell you all, thanks so much for all the good wishes and prayers! She says she is going back to work wednesday. I sure wish she could always stay home  : (

Payback Is Pawsome!

Now if you all look closely, you will see some rips in this bed quilt. Remember, you saw a photo of these awhile back? Well, there are really more than what "She" showed you!!! I didn't do them! I just paw the quilt to get it comfy! Anyway......it has been well over a month, and she has not repaired them yet! Can you imagine that? So this is what "She" gets,

PS. My Mom is having a Cardiac Cathterization (sp?) today. If she needs a stent, she will be in the hospital over night. I sure will miss her! She will play catch-up on all your blogs as soon as she can!

Mom And Dad's Halloween

 So sorry for the picture quality, but Mom forgot her camera, (sheesh), and these were emailed to her. She doesn't know how to change from jpeg and making them bigger like this, well you can see, bad photos! Anyway, Mom is a Jack in the Box, and Dad is a Tourist Trap! You can't see it very well, but it looks like Dad is being carried in a cage by a very large Ghoul! They had a lot of fun partying and dancing, and Dad won first prize, $75, for the men's group.
