Daddy Wants To Play

I'm not so sure I want to play with him though!
As you can see, he is always hiding my toys from me! This is exactly why I do not bring them to him in the first place!
Happy Monday y'all!

Once, They Really Were Little Boys

Two little boys, so intrigued by Santa Claus!
Ralph and John are about four years old here in this photo, and they are twins. That's my Dad on the left, and my Uncle John.
Here they both are 66 years later, together for their 70th birthdays!
A very Happy Birthday to my Dad and Uncle John!

I Have Become An Art Supervisor!

I know, it doesn't look like I am doing much here, but believe me I am! My Dad has started up acrylic painting again, and it is my job to make sure he does things the right way!

So our lanai has become the Art Studio!  I have a terrific time being his supervisor and am on and off that chaise lounge making sure he is painting a masterpiece! In the past month, Dad has painted five new pieces and started a sixth. I just may have to set up a show for him next. Maybe he can make some of those green papers, to buy me toys!

Did I Get A Taste?

Dad is eating a cookie and he looks like a alien eating it!

Just look at this alien teasing me!

If I just turn my head, and snub the alien.............
So.....the alien finally gave me a minuscule piece of that cookie. Now he is trying to lovey-dovey up to me!
Have a great Monday!

I think you had better let me down Dad, I need some water! Dang hot here! You say New Hampshire is a lot cooler? That would be just fine with me! Now, if we could just sell the house!

My Dad

Mom says we should enter this photo in a Look a Like contest! Uh Mom........first of all, all we have in common is our hair color! I am just a Spring Chicken dog compared to this OLD GEEZER! HELLO........I am only 8mos old as of yesterday! I got brown eyes, and he has blue ones! I am petite, he is BIG! I got four legs, he ONLY has two! (haha I run much faster than him). AND, he would NEVER wear PINK! So what are you thinking of Mom? AND, I am surprised my first owner ever allowed this OLD guy to ever adopt me! (Probably cause he saw how YOUNG my Mom is). But, you know something?????? I REALLY DO LOVE HIM ANYWAY!

Jumping Monkey

Remember the old Jumping Jacks we had as little kids? You know, it was two sticks, a little guy on string, and when you squeezed the sticks, the little guy would flip and flop all over the place? Well, that was maybe 50-60 yrs ago. Now this toy in the picture, is on the same order as those Jumping Jacks. Only, it is 90+ yrs old! My grandfather made this toy for my dad, when he was a wee one. I don't remember if my dad or my grandmother gave this to me when I was little. But I have treasured it forever! At least 50-55 yrs or so. (thats forever hehe) When you hold it and push up on the square piece, it kinda flips into a few different positions. It is somewhat hard to see the face, but it is there. It is all original, except for one screw and nut. I also have to replace a screw and nut on the back arm one of these days. Hmmmmm...........what should I do with this..........who should I give it to? It is the only toy I have from my childhood. Funny how we only save certain things.
