Mom Once Loved Goofy, Now She Has Me

My Mom and Dad worked at Disney for about 5 days! That's a whole other story though. Any way, she has always loved Goofy, and decide to collect just Goofy pins.

I Have Become An Art Supervisor!

I know, it doesn't look like I am doing much here, but believe me I am! My Dad has started up acrylic painting again, and it is my job to make sure he does things the right way!

So our lanai has become the Art Studio!  I have a terrific time being his supervisor and am on and off that chaise lounge making sure he is painting a masterpiece! In the past month, Dad has painted five new pieces and started a sixth. I just may have to set up a show for him next. Maybe he can make some of those green papers, to buy me toys!

What's She Crocheting Now?

I always have to check up on what my Mom is crocheting. She told me, this is a pair of slipper socks for my bro, Greg! He has asked for another pair this year. He wears them all the time at home, and gets holes in them. So, it has become a yearly gift to him for his birthday!

My New Backyard Friend

Here is one of my new backyard friends! I met her one day, as she flitted by my nose.

I followed her all around the side yard. She didn't seem to mind me being nosey either. It was hard for Mom to get a real clear picture, cause her wings were flapping a mile a minute! It is really nice for me to have a new friend around here!

So yeah......I got this box in the mail from that cutie/Garth! I sniffed it all around. Yep! I smelled Garth! You see, I was a winner in a contest of his!

Will you just look at that cute little guy in the box! Wait till I sink my teeth into him! Oh geeze, Mom just told me, he is not a dog friendly toy. Oh yeah???? Just wait! I'll show you who is dog friendly around here Mom!

Inside the envelope, were two coupons for free boxes of Frost Paws! And.......an autographed card from Garth and of course a photo of him! Can I hang the photo by my bed Mom? (I wonder if he has a girlfriend??)

Allegany State Park, Mom today

Last month, the younger daughter Jennifer, went to Allegany State Park with her two children and some friends. It is a beautiful park in the southern tier of mid eastern New York. Fall is probably the prettiest time of the year to visit, but it is beautiful anytime! This is Jennifer with my grandchildren, Julia and Joey.
