The Candy Bar

This was certainly something I had never seen before at a wedding. A candy bar! And all the candy was not even on the table yet! There were some chocolate Eifel Towers, purple Peeps, two shades of purple M&M's, Red, white and blue candies, and Patriotic Tootsie Rolls and Carmels. Heart and Patriotic lolipops, so MUCH! Of course I had to load up for the long drive home!

Only The Beginning

Here is Clint and Noelle, getting ready to cut their cake. I am waiting for some of the nicest pics of Clint and Noelles wedding to come my way. I am not to fond of all I have, so please be patient, and I will post as soon as I can.

The entire time up in MA, was a whirlwind of activity. I have to admit that it actually feels good to be sitting in my recliner as I write this. I sure hope to get more into detail about everything. Unfortunately, (fortunately for my bank account), I have to be at a caregiving job at 6am friday. That will last untill sometime saturday night. While I am there, I may not have much internet access (DARN). But...........I'll do as much as I can, as soon as I can......to bring you all up to date.

Today's The Big Day

Today is the day this sweet couple have their formal wedding! Tonight at 6pm, they will be repeating their vows at the very lovely Montponcet Inn, in Halifax, MA. I think it will be pretty amazing to see my son in a Tux, and Noelle in her wedding gown!

Feeding Time

Not sure why this pic turned out so small??? When we went on a cruise a few years back, I was able to snap this shot off our balcony. We were tossing almonds into the air, and watching the seagulls dive bomb to grab them before they hit the water. Some would catch them as we tossed them. Then.......another passenger, two levels below us, hollered at us for feeding the gulls. I said, to myself, whatever. We did stop though.

Do You Know?

Does anyone know what kind of insect this is? It is about 1 1/2 " long, and wing span is about 2 1/4". The body is very colorful as you can see. Just wondering.

More.....Pink Heals Tour

I will not tell you how sherri dressed last year for this, but will give you a hint: what is worn next to the skin, was worn on top of clothes, and it was of course, pink! (they all do crazy things for the fun of it).Sherri, in all her gear. (I bet she wishes she could keep that pink firemens jacket!)

She is a passenger in the cab this year and sooooo excited to be able to do that!

Do you think the little girl likes Sherri's wig? (probably thinks she is goofy! )

Another view of the firetrucks in Concord NH. This years, Walk For Breast Cancer, in Concord NH, is being held on the 17th of October. Sherri walks in it every year, and usually brings in a good amount of money from her sponsors. Besides helping make the pink fireman's suits, she also made about 80 pink and white lace garters, to be given out to survivors. From all the pictures I have seen of this entire event, Concord NH appears to do it up pretty big, for a wonderful cause!

Can We Go Outside?

It is a cooler day out, and Billy is asking to go for a walk in this older pic of him. He usually only likes to take walks when it is not to hot. If it is too warm outside, he just sits down and refuses to walk. Who says dogs don't have a mind of their own?

Pink Heals Tour

This is my daughter Sherri, in the middle. She is very involved in the "Pink Heals Tour" every year in Concord NH.

The pink fire trucks came to Concord NH this past wednesday. Those are all autographs of survivors and friends and families of survivors on the truck.

The company that Sherri works for, sews firemans suits. She had a part in sewing the pink suits. They also made the one for this dog.

Nice place for the dog to relax huh?

I'm Mr Lonely

I have been trying to take a decent picture of the birds for months now. They have never turned out good at all. Since I have learned the macro- zoom feature on my camera, I finally got a good one. This little guy is all alone, since the "incident", and really doesn't seem to be lonely. He talks a lot to himself in his little mirror, and really enjoys watching the TV. He was the only one who ever made a lot of noise, so it hasn't quieted down since the demise of the two females.

Boo To You

Mr Boo Bear here, has become quite friendly with my pal Goofy. Unfortunately, Mr Boo Bear is leaving soon. He is going to Massachusetts with us, to live with Ayden, my two year old grandson. But don't worry, Goofy will have some new (snow) friends sitting beside him soon.

My Prince?

There something to be said about a 61 year old woman, getting down on the cement, to take this close-up of another one of her back yard friends. (think it, don't say it) And he.......... did not even flinch! So...........maybe.........he is my prince? And even though one of my friends do not like these creatures, I think..........he is.........quite.........cute!
